How Can You Tell the Difference Between a First Addition Record and a Reissue? The Pioneer of Alternative Music

The White King of Soul

By Owen On October 26, 2011 · 1 Comment · In Music History

In the past when i was younger i would always see Tom Jones Records everywhere when Crate Digging, i don’t know why but i used to pass them up even when they were only a $1. Maybe it was because he was White and back then i thought only Black people could sing soul.

Today I still come across loads of Tom Jones records at bargain prices, so i think there mabey a lot of younger Record Collectors out there that do the same mistake i used to do. If you are not a fan of Tom Jones these clips might change your opinion.

Hear are two clips of the White King of Soul the first one is with the legendary Janis Joplin, enjoy!

The next clip is with another two legendary musicians Engelbert Humperdinck and Billy Preston, enjoy!
